Mug Bets - Mug Gambling at it's finest.

There's been some debate at mugbets HQ on the relevance of this website for today's gambling blogosphere. The site was made as much as an exercise in blog design, and very happy the mug punter is with it. The ideas for the site in post #1, will certainly go ahead I'm sure, though the full spectrum of topics up for discussion will evolve over time.

£5000 in a Betfair account. I should firstly point out, I already do have a Betfair account, but will hope to set up a side account in order to run our "mug fund". And with a title like that, you can rest assured, I intend to do some of the very best mug punting I can muster. In seriousness though, this is a side site / project to my main account and will be treated as such, the style of betting will be very much different over here. Think of it as an experiement, to prove (or disprove) how easy it is to be a mug when having a bet on Betfair. The goal is still to win, no one wants to lose £5000, but I don't expect we'll do that well. Still, it's about having fun along the way, and with a bit of luck, our £5k will be lost slowly.. maybe I'll replenish once that's happened. "Sharp minds" are going to love this site, and not because of the highly intellectual reading..

We'll be betting mostly on Tennis - it's what I know the best - though I'll be exposing us to some bets on other sports as well.

BTW, setting up side account is taking some time, once that's running, I'll get the site kicked into life. In the meantime, happy mug punting!
